Directions

The Forest View Hotel is six miles from Ross-on-Wye and eight miles from Monmouth and is situated directly beneath the famous Symonds Yat Rock, rising 500ft, above sea level.

Guests should make certain when approaching by road that they leave the A40 at a point midway between Ross and Monmouth, right by the B4229 on the Ross side and turn over Hutsham Bridge towards Symonds Yat East and the Yat Rock, and later fork right to descend to the riverside.
